Xin chào or hello! My name is Trang and my husband is Jaron. I am from Hanoi, Vietnam but currently reside in the US with my husband and two cats. Thank you for checking out our website. Here is my story.

In 2012, I graduated from university and felt a tremendous relief. I am now free. Free from my study, free from the constant reminder of homework, quizzes, and exams. I got a job, just like I was supposed to do.

OKAY. Now what? For all my life, I have been a student. All I know was to learn and organize my “free time” around that. But now what do I do with all that free time I never really had?

I started searching for a hobby. Sounds easy but I have never able to hold down any hobby, because it took up my study time. Then in 2013, I took a trip back to my homeland, Vietnam. Brought along a brand new Canon DSLR I got for myself.

It was different to see my country again. Not just because I have been away for six long years but something was different when I looked thru the camera lenses. I was able to freeze time. I was able to capture the scenery I remembered so much as a kid. Using my photos, I was able to explain my culture without using words. Just the way I see it, no more no less.

After my trip, I created this website to display my work and hopefully help out my fellow travelers with small tips and advices I thought would be helpful. After two three years, I am happy to say that I’m still using my camera to tell my stories.

And as of September 2016, my husband and I are very excited to announce that we are quitting our jobs to travel the world full time for about a year. I hope to bring more photography and travels articles to you through our new found adventure.
